Frequently Asked
The things people ask before they join, and the things members ask once they're in. If yours isn't here, send it over on the contact page and a coach will answer.
Getting started
Yes. Your first class is on us, and there is no commitment attached to it. Tell us which program you are curious about on the contact page and a coach will get back to you to schedule it.
We recommend you download the Buzops app and create a login using the same email we have on file. Enter your billing information and boom! You are all set to sign up for classes!
You can also book from any browser at peakstrengthfitness.buzops.com. The "Book a Class" button at the top of every page goes straight there.
Rates depend on which subscription fits you (Basic, Gold, Martial Arts or Platinum) and on how often you want to train, since Basic, Gold and Martial Arts each come in more than one frequency. Class packs, personal training and the performance tracking add-on are priced separately.
Get in touch through the contact page and we will send you the current rates.
Your membership
You may cancel your PEAK membership at any time. You may also upgrade or downgrade as needed. Please let us know via email and will terminate your membership. Note that if you rejoin at a later date, you will join at the current membership rate.
Yes, we allow PEAK members to put their membership on hold for up to 4 weeks. You will be charged for the period you are away, and partially refunded, minus a processing fee, at the end of the break.
Yes. Subscriptions, class packs and add-ons stack, so whatever you hold, the access adds together. The most common combination is a Basic or Gold subscription with the Martial Arts subscription alongside it, which is discounted while the first one stays active.
The Martial Arts subscription is billed separately at that discounted rate. If you drop the Basic or Gold subscription, the discount comes off at the next renewal.
One credit is used per class you book, and credits last 90 days from the day you buy the pack. Packs are scoped to a bundle of class types: Seniors with HIIT and Strength & Conditioning, S&C with HIIT, or Martial Arts. If you put your membership on hold, the 90-day clock pauses with it. Packs do not include Open Gym.
Training at Peak
Yes. Every member starts with an assessment covering medical history, posture, body composition, movement and range of motion, cardio-respiratory fitness, strength and performance, so your coach knows what to work around before you lift anything.
We also run post-rehab programming for members coming out of physical therapy, and our head trainer is a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.
No. Class sizes are capped small on purpose, every session is coached, and members here range from complete beginners to a 2004 Olympian. Coaches modify on the spot, which is the whole point of a coached class.
Training is periodized, which means the focus shifts at planned intervals rather than staying the same forever. Individual programs get rewritten every four to six weeks, and we recommend a three-month commitment as the minimum to see real change.
